My journey with mindfulness began over 10 years ago.

After practicing medicine for many years I experienced symptoms of burnout. I came to understand that so much of health and wellness is related to your state of mind.

I began meditating and studying mindfulness and mindfulness-based stress reduction. These practices were healing and life-changing for me and they brought more joy into my life. I understood from my own experience how many people could benefit and I decided to teach.

I became a Qualified Mindfulness-based stress reduction teacher after training extensively at the Center for Mindfulness at the University of Massachusetts Medical School and at the Mindfulness Center, Brown University, School of Public Health. I had the pleasure of training with Lynn Korbel, Saki Santorelli, Florence Meleo-Meyer, Jon Aaron, and Jud Brewer.

My passion for sharing mindfulness continues to grow and I now give mindfulness workshops, seminars, and various courses, including a 4-week mindfulness series and an 8-week Mindfulness-Based Stress Reduction class. I also coach individuals and offer customized mindfulness programs for groups, organizations, and the medical community.

I believe that now more than ever, people worldwide need mindfulness practice to support themselves during this stressful time.

I have found much joy in teaching and experiencing students' aha moments and transformation on their mindfulness journey.
